Now the perfect example of a young rich and faking it move is downloading the infamous iPhone App “Night Box.” I had heard through the grapevine that it is supposed to list the hottest NYC clubs and lounges, as well as give you information about the doorman, and management team.
Being the curious cat myself … I had to download the application, 
yes I spent $9.99 to see what it was about and what I have to say is I am impressed. Most people only hear about new-hot NYC nightlife clubs through word of mouth or on the Internet, but this is perfect way to cheat the system. Downloading the app CERTAINLY doesn’t mean you are going to get it, but knowing some information about the place is almost like studying before your exam; it will give you better chance.
For the $9.99 you get a list of the new, hottest NYC Venues, information about how it came about and why it’s cool, the management team (and BIO information about them too), pictures of place, directions, hours of operation, general nightlife news (from Page 6 of the post) and general tips on getting into a NYC club all together.
THEN for an additional $0.99 (each) you can upgrade for ONE specific doorman’s information. Again being a curious cat I bought two, just to see what it said and if it gave juicy details! Well slightly disappointed it just kind of told you how big or little of a tool the doorman will be and little things he likes to go for in picking the chosen people to go in. If you are smart you may be able to use the doorman information to your advantage. An example of this is for the club 1Oak – doorman Binn Jakupi they said he likes to pack the venue with models … aka girls wear SUPER high Louboutins and don’t eat for a few days; you may just get in if you fake being a model.
The second doorman I purchased was “Jordon Wheat’s” information – since he mans the door for club RdV. and Bagatelle it was like a two for one combo! HAHA! They explained he was originally from Miami, so a little mami chonga bootylicious dress may do the trick.
